Ever consider adding the ability to have more then one qsl card design? For example, Good Operator Report and Official Observer Advisory eCards? Could save OO's a bit of change (OO's can be reimbursed but I would not persue it), and increase revenue for the site if added to a tier (even make a OO membership).

OOs are ARRL positions and I would not imagine that they would approve of such. I'm not sure they even use e-mail must less an eQSL. Even if it is a good guy report. I got one once... they are just little post cards. But I will tell you if I had gotten an e-mail over a post card it would not have had as much impact.

And then there is the argument over checking legitimacy of the sender, etc.

Depending on your level of membership in eQSL, you can create separate and distinct cards for your primary and each of your attached accounts.

After that statement, I must take Kevin's side for the rest of the response. The purpose of eQSL is to provide a convenient and inexpensive method for exchange of QSO confirmations. If the League wants to promote electronic OO reports or other one way mailings, no one is preventing them from doing so on their own servers. Also, what cost savings? Any OO that's sending more than a small few reports per month needs to get a life.

Doug, W5DET

P.S. I have been a League member for over 50 years and proud of it.

What?!? You're still wasting time and money sending QSL cards via Snail Mail? Whatever for? Go Unpostal!
