Hallo

I am on Curacao, PJ2.
With the date of 10.Oct. 2010 Curacao has a new DXCC Status and new IOTA number. I must change this information.
To change this new details on my eQSL I have to reset the Callsign/QTH End date to the date of my last QSO from that QTH, 09.Oct. 2010 to open a new account with the same Callsign PJ2/DF7DQ.

When I will do that, I get the following message:

The country "BONAIRE/CURACAO NETH. ANTILLE" is not in our approved list
Go back and use the dropdown list we provided!

If I go back, there is no dropdown list, but the message Cannot change BONAIRE/CURACAO NETH. ANTILLE

The support doesn`t give any answer to this problem.

How can I handle this problem?

Peter

The problem, as you've probably already guessed, is that the country list for the data base hasn't been timely updated.

At the top of this thread are links to the moderators, one of whom is the founder and CTO of eQSL, Dave Morris, N5UP. I would use the link to send him a private message and cut and paste your original post in this thread.

Good luck es 73,
Doug, W5DET

What?!? You're still killing trees and wasting time and money sending QSL cards via Snail Mail? Whatever for? Go Unpostal!

If you've moved QTH, then we ask you to set up a new account. If you didn't do that, then people that worked you from your old location would get credit for the wrong state if you just updated your state to the new one. That would mess up people's eWAS claims!

What we suggest you do is as follows:

- Login as your old account.
- Set the end date on My Profile to the last day that you made a QSO from your old QTH.
- Go to the Home Page and follow the link to My Accounts http://www.eqsl.cc/QSLCard/MyAccounts.cfm - from there, follow the instructions to Register a New Attached Account
- Set up the appropriate address, state, county and grid fields in your new account to reflect your new QTH.
- Set the start date on My Profile to the first day that you made a QSO from your new QTH.

When you are uploading QSO data - make sure that you select the correct account when you log on. It's second nature after a while. ...

Thats a good hint, but in my case, it does not work. If I do so, I get the message:

The country "BONAIRE/CURACAO NETH. ANTILLE" is not in our approved list
Go back and use the dropdown list we provided!
.... but there is no drop down list.

That means, I can not close the date, because "BONAIRE/CURACAO NETH. ANTILLE" is not in the list anymore. It does not exist.

I have sent mail to the support, but no reaction. Have almost 800 QSOs to upload.

Supporters, Moderators..... please find a solution for this problem, because there a lot waiting for a new country te be confirmed with eQSL.

No answer after 10 days.

I can not believe that there is no solution for this problem.
