Just wondering here and this might have been asked somewhere here already but,

I keep my logs on e-qsl every contact eqsl member or not and i was wondering if a person is a regular member and upgrades to an AG if eqsl updates your contact with them and they count for an award . Or do we have to make a second contact to have them qualify for us.


One other thing i cant understand is if they are REGULAR member why dont they spent a couple minutes and get AG aproved ?

Kevin,
First, you are correct in that eQSL will automatically update your eQSL QSOs to AG if another ham that you made contact with gets AG and vice versa. You don't need another contact.

Second, if you or I could answer why any member doesn't take the time to become AG, we would be rich.

Phillip,
Did you snail mail in a copy of your license, or did you upload a jpg of it? A friend uploaded his, and the next day, if you put in his call into the search box next to the binoculars, it showed " AG Pending" and he got his AG within a week. When I search your call, I don't see the AG Pending statement, so I assume they haven't opened the mail yet. If it takes more than 2 weeks, then send them an email by using the Help! link above.

ok thanks andy . i just check with my xyl and she did not send anything in ???? why i dont know ?? if i take a pix of my lic will that work . our scaner is down and i don't know when we can get a new one.thanks phil

Phillip,
I think it's ok to take a pix of license and then upload that .jpg from the camera. I'm assuming you have a digital camera. If not, you can bring the film picture to a Walmart and they can put in on a CD as a jpg file which you can then upload to the AG link.

I have nothing to do with checking your license, I'm just trying to give new users some assistance. Once you upload via the AG link, the moderators and/or Admin folks will verify your upload and give you AG status.

Sorry Phil,
I don't know anything about that. I think you need to send an email by using the Help! link on top of the page and explain what is going on. Im not a Moderator nor an Administrator. I know that when you activate an account, you get the option of donating $ to the site for upkeep. Make sure you didn't hit some button twice or did not athorize a weekly donation via PayPal. Have you uploaded any QSOs yet or manually entered any? If not, you won't get any automatic eQSLs untill you do. If you do get eQSLs in your InBox, they may have to be verified manually and confirmed by you.

hi andy .yes i do get cards a bunch .but i am also getting e-mail from some saying that my return in not a AG and i need to get with it .. i uploaded my lic and sent 5$ in to have them send me a post card. i do plane on sending in 30$ but for now i got to do it this way.. thanks ..phil
