I am primarily registered as G3VDB. I have added my recent vacation callsign 8Q7EJ as an extra account on my accounts. The fact that the two calls are in different countries is not automatically handled and the address details came up as my UK address with Maldives as the country. I can change most things through the profile for 8Q7EJ

The one anomaly that I have not overcome is that the 8Q7EJ profile says the zones are 14 and 27 (as G3VDB) not the correct ones of 22 and 41. On the QSL card image I have used one of my four lines to include the correct zone info.

Perhaps someone needs to check that the software handles this "two country" situation correctly.

69 eQSL's for 8Q7EJ alread (out of 1127 QSOs).

Regards to all and thanks for a great service.

Jim,
I believe the Locator and the Zones are based on your address in your account profile for both QTHs. So I'm not sure what went wrong. I suggest that you use the 'Help!' link above the forums and let the Admins know of your situation. It may take a while but I think you will get your answer for a fix or they will fix it for you. Hope this helps somewhat.

Yes it certainly has something to do the England Address being copied over to the Maldives entry when 8Q7EJ was first created. Since my location in the Maldives is a hotel, I do want my UK address, not the hotel address, on the eQSL card so I have left that in place. I indicate the DX location in the uploaded graphic. The Zones seem to be based on the mailing country, not on the Callsign country.

I have been able to design the QSL card around it to show the correct information, but thought it was worth raising the apparent problem.

Of course I may have chosen some wrong options when I created the additional callsign / account.

The incorrect zone info for 8Q7EJ has now been corrected by admin - Russ, K7INA - for which many thanks.
