Is there any way to avoid having to delete the endless years old list of Sked requests that appears when a new account is created?

Having to create Island Activation accounts I end up deleting these hundreds of requests from each new each account?

To set up this Club Callsign I had to check and delete circa 350 old sked requests.

Am I simply missing the quick method to purge these Sked Requests (in many cases they are over 3 years old)?

Or does eQSL need a "Check ALL" button for Sked Deletions?

Perhaps new accounts should default to displaying only Sked Requests newer than the account creation date?

I agree with you Steve. A check all button, or delete all would be great. This would keep them more current.

I agree with your agreement Ed.

In addition, it would be nice if the screen page was limited in length; e.g., after so many X number of lines displayed, a page break is given to allow the user to mark his deletions onto what is presently displayed, and then advance to the next page, etc.

Wanted to follow up to thank eQsl for implementing an "delete all skeds requests" .

As it looks like I will be continuing to create new accounts for each Island activation, and another for the home QTH period after an Island trip, I am running into the "sked request overload" issue more often than usual.

Didn't spot it at first. Very pleased to be able to use the skeds feature.

Thanks & 73,

Steve

Sked requests are in abundance!! I have answered many, many, requests that were duds. No return mail, sced etc. so far 99% of my requests have failed to contact me. Altho I have limited time to sced. I tried to oblige the masses. If you are not going to respond, don't ask for a sced request! time is precious to some of us. Tnx fer the avenue of vent!. 73 all gud dx, de Ellis Wa1rks.

Is it possible to create a button that would inform the requestor that a particular station is not currently accepting Sked requets and would reject the request at the time it's made?

A smilar problem exists in use of Digital Sked Requests because it is so NON Specific you just end up with a lot of Junk Mail where they dont fit the mode you are looking for....

With many Digital specialty areas operators have specific modes PSK, SSTV that are looking to setup skeds.

I was looking to setup SSTV skeds and a Digital Sked Request brought 100's of emails of which only a few operate SSTV so all that happened is a lot of people had a lot of time wasted for only 1 station worked.

Simple to fix but totally useless in its current fomat, if you are serious about including Digital modes.

I'm afraid I have had the same experience. Very few responses to my e-mails. Maybe a note should be added to the effect that one should not post a sked request unless one is willing to answer e-mails generated by that request. 73, Jack
