In other words if there are NOT those buttons to create a confirmation or deny it ... then you can safely assume that the other ham got the eQSL to his IN BOX. It's logical ... as Mr. Spock would say. If you don't have a way, a button to confirm, then you can't do that. Because???? Because you don't have to. KA4UDX Alan Spicer

Think about the RF getting into your head and affecting that! My (electric) meter gets affected by a lot of things. Me using the amplifier (AL-811( . The 220 air conditioner and clothes drier. Sometimes my RF on 80 meters makes my Samsung flat tv/monitor go kaflooey. Menu things pop up. Recently the volume went all the way up and wouldn't stay down. P.S. I noticed today that the needed states and recommended contacts disappeared as you described ... and it looks like my Silver level donation time expired so I was downgraded to a Regular Member. I donated $30 again and it comes back ... I think the best has been PSK31 for getting States and countries on eQSL. I participate in most contests casually sometimes not even submitting an official log to ARRL or whatever, mainly trying to increase my States or Countries on here. I can't help but think I've got more of my states (only 3 left now in Mixed eWAS) contacted - just getting them confirmed on here may be the problem. Is there a way to search by partial calls signs and by State or Country? Because it is a daunting task to go through the list of all of my contacts and "Notify" all of the ones that are needed. Is it possible that a ham could be in a state and different call sign area and not be counted on here? How is the state determined? Anyway need ... IA ND UT for my eWAS mixed. If anyone is in those states and would like to make an on the air meeting or schedule - please contact me. Now if I can just extend my PSK31 data cable about 12 feet it can reach the desktop PC - since my laptop died and I have not been on Digital Modes in too many months! --- 73 de KA4UDX, Alan Spicer KA4UDX Alan Spicer |
