i found a box of qsl cards i had prepared for the buro, but never got around to mailing them. they're from 1990 +/- i tried to add them here and i'm told they're too old. i can't remember the exact words... i looked, but haven't been able to find where i can change the dates of my call sign so i can get people credit for these contacts. i checked them against QRZ's database and most are still active. lots of them are CW. i can't imagine why i didn't get them to the buro, but i was having work related problems, changing jobs, moving, etc and i actually wasn't very radio active for a long time after that time until 2013. i've this same problem with LOTW also. that is why i don't refuse any NON-AG eQSL's, if they DO go AG later on, it changes over. KM4IY Michael D. Brown

tu for your response david... this morning i rx'd a nice SWL report re: a QSO with a DO station that had reported the parties in the qso and the reports tx/rx. in my mind, that is logically what should be there. a report without that information is just a shout out... hey, i heard you on the air... i appreciate it, but i don't understand it. i may be able to delete them from the archive AFTER confirmation... i'll see. edited to include: i found that i was able to delete the unwanted from my archive by locating the unwanted in my outbox and deleting that entry, i was able then to reject it from the archive. i would like to be able to confirm without having them in the archive, but i guess this is a workaround, for now. thanks again... i'm happy to respond to the SWL reports and try to confirm them with my log as i was told they can earn awards and certificates ( i really can't personally confirm that, though ). anyway, i have begun receiving eqsl cards with a report of them receiving my signal but not listing a qso. i really can't confirm anything. one this afternoon said i was calling CQ at a certain time, i probably was, but i don't have a record of it and there was no qso logged near that time. perhaps i should interpret this as just a report of my signal and thank them for it. another question: i don't want the SWL reports logged into my system, so i'm trying to figure out how to confirm yet NOT have them logged. help? how do i interpret JT65 signal reports? do i want a more negative number or a less? do i want a -20 or a -1? for some reason i have it that i'm working for a more negative number, but i really don't know why i think that and i'm probably wrong... KM4IY Michael D. Brown

i know... i was really frustrated. i pursued the station up and down the band all afternoon. Propagation was crazy and signals were all over each other.... when i was finally able to complete the call, i was ecstatic, having fulfilled the PSK31 DXCC requirement. when i received the wrong QSL, i was disappointed. HOWEVER!!!! The station has sent me an AG confirmation and all is well. i messaged him with my appreciation... he has several callsigns from places i've never heard of... i hope they're all AG now and i get to contact him there. i understand... and in the future, i'll do that. my brain was thinking that since his home call was (AG) that the visiting calls attached to that would be too. i see i was mistaken. why he confirmed with the home call though, confuses me. I would have rather had the other even non-certified... i already have a ton of contacts from his home country. oh well, another disappointment, so back to the hunt. KM4IY Michael D. Brown

i have several contacts with stations signing with a XX/XXXXXX call sign. the XX/ part is the one i'm interested in and manage a contact. i go away happy thinking i've bagged a new one only to find the contact to be confirmed with the home call, which isn't a new one. as simple as it is to get certified, why don't these stations do it? its an aggravation, i'm withing a couple of contacts for awards and have thought i had completed the requirements several times only to be disappointed... i'm sorry, i need to clarify my question... there is a menu selection for downloading the eqsl card i did up as a regular card.... out of curiosity, i tried it a couple of times and haven't been able to make it work. at the same time, i've been having problems with IE downloading and installing software/add-ons, etc. i can't be for sure which this comes from... eqsl.cc or my internet explorer... thank you for your reply.... i scanned thru the questions and didn't see this one, perhaps i overlooked it... but i've tried to download my card several times and haven't been able to. is this function not available? or is it me? i'm really more curious than anything... it would be nice, but i'm not upset, either way.
